For more than 50 seasons, support from our Friends of SCR group has guaranteed that SCR's exciting work and education programs continue to serve you and our community. Your Friends gift is put to work immediately by:

  • Underwriting the cost of free school matinees for more than 10,000 local underserved children.
  • Bringing the finest artists​—such as stage and television stars Sandra Oh (Office Hour), Ben Feldman (The Siegel) and Mark Harelik (Red), director Kent Nicholson (Amadeus) and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Beth Henley (Abundance)—to make magic on our stages.
  • Presenting new plays from acclaimed playwrights like NPR commentator Sandra Tsing Loh's The Madwoman in the Volvo, ​Qui Nguyen's Vietgone and Lucas Hnath's A Doll's House, Part 2 (Tony Award-nominated for Best Play).
